Each month the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) reviews performance metrics for each of its 20 contracted child welfare lead agencies, and releases a scorecard report. The scorecard ranks the lead agencies performance on child safety, permanence, and well-being benchmarks. The overall rank also accounts for the percentage of revenue spent on administrative functions. Each lead agencyÂ’s performance is compared to the statewide performance and to a state benchmark target.
