In December 2013, the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released nine core measures for assessing the quality of behavioral health care services integrated into primary care. The measures were developed and validated for use in various quality-of-care applications. Core measures align closely with the Integration Framework. The sixth measure is C6: Level of Integration Measure (or LIM). It was designed specifically to assess integrated care. The measure assesses the level of agreement with each item regarding the primary care clinic in which an individual works.
